The Brainerd Mission research notes, correspondence, and other material series documents Penelope Johnson Allen's research of Brainerd Mission and the Cherokee Indians as part of her work with the Daughters of the American Revolution. This series also documents the Daughters of the American Revolution's efforts to preserve and memorialize the Brainerd Mission Cemetery.
