Dr. Brown was first elected to the Tennessee House of Representatives in November 1992. This series includes records from Brown’s campaigns for election as well as records pertaining to the campaigns of the Democratic Party as a whole from 1991 to 2011. Notable contents include fliers and ephemera created to promote Brown’s campaigns over the years as well as a draft of Brown’s victory speech from her initial 1992 election.
