States she has a card from Edith Meyer stating she is leaving Asheville, North Carolina for Nashville and will stop in Chattanooga. Meyer said she would love to meet Mrs. Govan while there and for Mrs. Govan to call her at the Patten Hotel. Ball is visiting Roberta and Lloyd in the summer, whose child was fatally hit by a car. She grieves for the child. States that she heard that Alice is no longer at Mills nor any other bookstore. If Mrs. Govan sees Edith [illegible] tell her I Fanny will call her. She asks Mrs. Govan to let her know about her new grandchild.
