Biographical/Historical note
Donald Davidson (1893-1968) was a poet, essayist, social and literary critic, and author. Two of his best known works are his two-volume history works “The Tennessee” and “Rivers of America” series. “Rivers of America” is known for its critique of TVA regarding the impact of dam building on local cultures.
