Jan. 31, 1940 To: Christine Govan From: Andrew Lytle
Scope and Contents note
Mentions difficulty with snowy weather. States that he didn’t leave for Kentucky due to illness, which still confines him to bed. States that he will write to Christine about Mss. as soon as he gets out of bed. He had planned to read “Mrs T. came down with Tom” until the weather became bad. Asks if she wants Mss. back now or if she wants to give him time to get up and get his wits about him. He enjoyed Jim’s letter, and says he will write him once he is better.
