Biographical / Historical

David Wiley (1928-2010) was an actor, director, designer, civil libertarian, and professor of theater at several colleges before settling at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for 26 years. While in Chattanooga, he served on the local, state, and national boards of the American Civil Liberties Union. He retired from UTC in 1996 and retured to Bloomington, Indiana with his wife, Anna. In retirement Wiley would work on genealogy and continue his work with the ACLU both in Bloomington and on the Indiana state board. He passed away in Indiana on July 17, 2010.
