Biographical / Historical

Nancy Dugger received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Chattanooga in 1925 and earned her master's degree in social work from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1953. Dugger had passion for wildlife preservation and belonged to many environmental groups, in addition to authoring manuscripts aimed to educate children about animals. She dies on 1987 January 5 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
