Biography

The Indiana 13th Cavalry Regiment was a division of the Union Army during the Civil War and organized at Indianapolis, Kokomo, and New Albany, Indiana from December 23, 1863 to April 29, 1864. They left the state for Nashville, Tennessee on April 30, 1864. From there, they battled in a number of southern states until 1865, including: Tennessee, Kentucky, Alamaba, and Mississippi.
