Junior Kosmos Club (1924-1931) (Chattanooga, Tenn.)
Biography
The Junior Kosmos Club originally organized themselves as a division named Junior Kosmos within the Department of Junior Clubs of the Kosomos in 1924 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Junior Kosmos established their own constitution and bylaws, stating "the purpose of the Association shall be to stimulate the intellectual growth of its members and to give aid to the work of philanthropy. The Junior Kosmos limited membership to "young matrons and girst between the ages of seventeen (17) and thirty (30)." The group maintained their own officers and funds, submitting annual payment to their parent organization, the Kosmos Club, to maintain the club house.

Review Club records
This collection contains yearbooks, minutes, and administrative records produced by the Review Club and the organization's antecedent, the Junior Kosmos, that document the history of women's clubs in Chattanooga, Tennessee from 1923 to 1975. The collection also documents the separation of the Junior Kosmos Club from the Kosmos-Woman's Club in 1931, resulting in the independently organized Review Club.
