Cyrus Griffin Martin papers
This collection is comprised of Martin's correspondence, military records, financial records, and notepads created during his service as a Second Lieutenant in the American Expeditionary Forces during World War I. The contents of the collection date from 1917 to 1919. Included in the collection are official letters to Martin concerning his departure from service and his promotion to Second Lieutenant in the American Expeditionary Forces during World War I.
William H. Masterson papers
The collection includes letters and certificates of congratulations on inauguration as University of Chattanooga President. Also included are notes from speeches given by Masterson for various university and community events as well as some university-related correspondence. Notecards of research material for his book, William Blount, are also included. Materials in the collection range from 1966 to 1979.
Thomas H. McCallie annotated autobiography
This collection contains a photocopied facsimile of McCallie's autobiography covering a period beginning in 1901 and ending in 1912. The Memoirs is a hand-written volume of 153 pages. A transcription of the memoir is available. There are also three letters (photocopies) from 1905 concerning the founding of the McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
